Our Table Numbers*

It was a busy wedding weekend in our house and I crossed a ton of things off the listso expect a lot of project posts this week!  First up, our table numbers!

We knew we wanted to incorporate our engagement pictures into our table numbers—we have so many awesome photos that many of our guests will never get to see otherwise.  Here’s what I came up with:

029  **

I got all the frames at—get this—the Dollar Store!  All it took was a little coloring of the mats (the original mats were yellow, so I used permanent marker to color them black) and they were perfect for this use.  I designed the actual numbers in Microsoft Word and printed them on shimmery gold cardstock.  The design looks like this:

After that, it was just a matter of inserting the pictures!  You’ll notice that in the photos above, I only go up to table 24.  We will be having more tables than that, but I ran out of frames—I literally bought The Dollar Store out of these frames.  My plan is to find frames of similar shape/size this week, spray painting if I have to to get the same look.  I will cut black mats out of cardstock to complete the rest of the numbers.

I LOVE the way these turned out and I hope it encourages our guests to mix and mingle as they wander the room looking at all the different photos!

What are you doing/did you do for table numbers?

*Really creative blog post title, I know.  What can I say, my creativity is ZAPPED right now, haha!

**All photos/design by me.

You need to just hit every dollar store in the area!

  9. Simple but classy! I’m done with my table numbers a couple of months ago and love them as well.

    what font did you use?

The script font is Chopin Script, which I downloaded from dafont.com, and the print font is just a regular font from Microsoft Word (can’t remember which one it is, sorry).
